Im a big fan of Peterson pipes, so I will often scroll through the Peterson pipe pages. Im a habitual liker-of-posts, but I comment only a small percentage of the time in which Im on the forum. I did however make a comment of admiration about a ‘MADE IS ENGLAD’ Peterson that ashdigger posted a picture of.
Not very long after making the comment, I received a PM from ashdigger saying that he was going to send a ‘MADE IS ENGLAD’ Peterson 307, free of charge. My jaw dropped. I was ecstatic. Shortly thereafter, I received another message from ashdigger, saying that ‘you hit a triple’. Instead of one Pre-Republic, he was sending me THREE Pre-Republic Petersons. My jaw hit the floor.
I don’t ever win prizes in contests or raffles, but I feel like I hit the jackpot. When I say this is the nicest thing a non-family member has ever done for or given me, I mean that literally. I cant thank @ashdigger enough. This is prime example of the legendary generosity of the forum.
