I Am Loving The OTC's

My baccy order came in the other day from 4noggins. I had orderd a variety of blends again and one of them was 2oz of Bulk Carter Hall. Now, I already know that I like Walnut and 1-Q mixed 50/50, it is one of my favorite mixes. Just for the heck of it, I mixed up some 50/50 mix of Walnut and Carter Hall, loaded it in a Mr. Brog #66 and fired away, with a cup of Maxwell House. Just absolutely wonderful! Smooth, cool, no bite and the Wife said to me, "Now why can't you smoke that stuff more often, instead of that stinky, fishy smelling crap, lol.(She is referring to Penzance, Latikia Flake #9, etc.)
I find myself smoking the Old Codger Blends, more and more lately. Don't know why, but I just find them preferrable for some reason.

OTC's are the way to go! Although I have several other blends which I do enjoy now and again, OTC's make up about 90% on my actual smoking.

It's great to see you young guys discoverin g the OTC's. Of course there were a lot of stinkers among that group but the burley based stuff was what America smoked back in the day. Too bad some of the really good ones have disappeared.
