Virginia, Dark Fired Virginia and Kentucky comprise this delicious and unusual broken flake blend. It’s a little sweet, a touch smoky and quite earthy. Virginias (both dark fired and not dark fired) are up front with the Kentucky in the not too distant rear. Like with almost all other HU tobaccos I’ve had, its mechanical behavior is nearly perfect. It usually takes 2 lights to get it going then another 2 over the course of the bowl. According to Tobaccoreviews, it’s lightly topped with Caramel which I only faintly detect maybe every 8-10 puffs. The moisture is perfect right out of the tin, or in my case, jar. I’ve had this jarred for about 6 months as my rotation is very wide (about 30 baccys at any given time). I love this blend for its rich, intense flavor and near perfect behavior. Highly recommended.
