New member but old -- figuratively and literally -- pipe (plus cigar and occasional RYO cigarette) smoker.
Reside in the great state of New Jersey (is there anything more pleasant than smoking your favorite pipe or a good cigar on a crisp, autumn day at the Jersey Shore?).
Favorite pipe tobacco blends include all the Peter Stokkebye Luxury flakes, Gawith Hogarth Bob's Chocolate Flake, Bright CR Flake and Dark Flake Licorice, D & R Don Giovanni Sigaro and Rimboché S.J., GL Pease Fillmore and Laurel Heights, Cornell and Diehl Pennington Gap, Orlik Golden Sliced, Reiner Long Golden Flake and McClelland No. 2015 Virginia Perique Flake and No. 5100 Red Cake (too bad they're gone).
Prefer African meerschaum (Barling, Kiko, Tanganyika Thompson, etc.), Missouri Meeschaum corn cob and clay pipes to briars, but also love Don Carlos briars.
Prussian Blue is my favorite color.
Haven't tried Sutliff Mixture No. 79 but, as I understand that it is flavored with licorice and as I like Good & Plenty, Ouzo and Peter Stokkebye Sambuca, I probably would enjoy it.
