How to make my pipes shine?

After a year of use, the bright contrast stain color became darker and dim.

What would you recommend to make something like

to retain it's shiny, glowing state

Carnuba wax... I clean and wax about every three months, gently so as to not cause damage. Keeps them all pretty.

I agree, carnuba wax works great when refurbishing bowls or stems. I also do it only for periodic cleans rather than every smoke.
