Hi all! Newbie here. I was given a tin of Haddo's from 2001 and noticed it had zero noticeable topping, like a fresh tin does. I'm exploring Lakeland's and various scented blends, and actually like them. My questions have to do with cellaring scented blends.
1. HG bulk Lakelands - - if I jar right away, how many years would you guess before the floral fades (or is gone)? Does heating the jar to get a seal actually do more than just screwing tight?
2. Tins of St. Bruno flake (or SG Lakeland tins) - - cellar in tin, or open and then jar?
3. Different approach for pouches of St. Bruno?
Behind my questions is a desire to cellar what I like, but not so much that it loses what I like before I can get to it! Really enjoying the forum, thanks all.
