Hi pipe-friends-
Does anybody know facts about original-fabricated horn stems for a Dunhill or a Parker pipe ?
I found a picture with an early dunhill pipe with a hornstem, approx. about 1922 to 1927.
But no more infos about manufactured hornstems for dunhill or parker pipes.
Reason is that i just bought a few pipes and one of them is a parker with hornstem.
My first idea was this is a replacement-stem, but it should be original (seller)......- perhaps on customers order !?
Thanks and good smoke to everybody

Hi. I’d love to see the pipe. During WW2 Dunhill had horn stems and you could get a rubber one replaced after the rationing. I’m sure similar practices applied towards Parker but I’ve never seen any. Looking forward to what the Dunny experts are going to share.
