Whenever I smoke a churchwarden I feel like a Hobbit or a Wizard, lol.

Today it’s a Hobbit. Sitting around barefoot after a late breakfast smoking - wait for it - Old Toby from Beehive Cigars and feeling rather lazy in my easy chair.

Plus I shaved off my beard awhile back and I don’t have a ridiculous hat on so Wizard is right out.

Never, ever, have I felt British, or churchwarden-ish whilst smoking a churchwarden pipe, not even with Bach organ music in the background. Just saying.

I’m thinking second breakfast is about due. ?

Definitely wizardly but after reading your description I can see sitting around “full, fat & fragile” smoking my churchwarden and feeling like a hobbit. I will have to give that a shot. Sounds fun!

I’d have to say Hobbit because right after posting I did in fact have second breakfasts and then a second pipe and then me and my bare feet sat on the sofa feeling quite fat and content with life. So yeah, Hobbit on that day for sure.

I usually feel like a wizard. Never felt like a hobbit though. Though it has little to do with pipes or churchwardens. Mostly it's that weird thing that happens if I shake noisy things at something. Like the time I summoned a sand piper (funny story but it involves pantomime and doing the curly from the three stooges so not forum ready).
