I am a Kansas boy living in the big easy. I have been a cigarette smoker for 30+ years. I smoke a pipe occasionally (inspired by my grandfather growing up). With the cost of cigarettes going up and up, and the enjoyment of my pipe, I am getting more into pipe smoking. I am basically a beginner in search of information.

Hello & welcome! I’m an invasive species living in Nola myself! If you haven’t heard, there’s a pipe club here that meet the last Thursday of every month. The next meeting is 11/30/23 at Mayan Importers in Metairie (there’s a location on Magazine St as well. Don’t get confused) 5-8pm. It’s a good group of people & we always bring tobacco to share. The meetings are mostly informal gatherings where we sit in the larger smoking lounge and talk and share different tobacco blends.
If you have questions about pipes and tobacco someone in the club will usually have the answer.
