Help with Meerschaum Stem

I've really been enjoying smoking my dad's CAO Meerschaum but I'm not happy with the stem. As you can see here, there's some serious teeth marks:


The draw isn't the best on it either, but it works:





I would appreciate suggestions as to how to improve this pipe--repair or replace the stem? If so, I'd appreciate any suggestions of where to send it.
