Ok folks, I have this pipe. I bought it last week on Ebay for next to nothing. It smokes like a champ. My best by far. I don't get hot and I can't get bit with when i use it. It was all dull and unimpressive so today i decided to see what I could do about it and i was shocked at how well it cleaned up. I knew it had a Sterling band, and it was tarnished really bad so i started there. i used toothpaste to get it shiny and as i cleaned it, it revealed some engravings. It says "sterling" and above that some crazy looking letters that appear to be EOM. Other markings on the shank say "Port Watch" and on the bottom "imported briar". I assume there is a watch company that made these at one point, but i can't find anything about it. I've googled every combination of every word on the pipe to no avail. So now i ask the community if they have any idea how i can find out the origins of it. Even if its worthless, it looks great and smokes better. Here are some pictures. The band is so shiny i cant get anything but light reflection. Please help!! Thanks!

Mate, if it smokes good, then it doesn't really matter what it is. I am glad you got a good one. Many no name pipes out perform brand names.
I will play around a bit an see if I can find anything out.
