Help Me Find A Pipe - A Challenge!

I need help finding a pipe!

I'm looking for lightweight, cheap, and with a good size chamber. Something I can buy a dozen or so of to give away to visitors and abuse a few myself. Something for use in the pool without fear of damage. Something preferably in the $10-$15 range.

I have a MM Diplomat apple but the plaster makes it heavy and the chamber is small. There are plenty of natural cobs with a chamber of similar size but it's really just too small.

I like the MM Freehand but at $38 I can find other pipes for that price range. After all, the CAO meer I routinely abuse was found in an antique shop, unsmoked, for $45.

I really like the size, look, and price of the MM General but it appears to have a plaster finish.

The only thing I can find is a MM MacArthur natural but I don't particularly care for the look. Cutting it down in height a little might help but also maybe not.

Does anyone know of anything?

Check out Old Dominion cobs. They appear to have a few larger models and are very light. I've got a Laughing King that has an average size chamber.

I looked at that one specifically but would like a larger chamber. I like the shape though.

Yeah, I have a cob with plaster—actually, two, since the reverse coblabash is plastered too.

I meant what's the deal as in "does it affect the smoke"?

It keeps the chaff from cracking and flaking away and gives the pipe a finished appearance.
