Evening everyone, I lucked into a Pre 1981 GBD never smoked. But would like to find the exact age if it is at all possible. It's a 9436. Any ideas out there.

Exact age, not likely. You might be able to get it within a few years if you are lucky. I would check out old Iwan ries and tinderbox catalogs to see when the line was introduced.
Sorry, I don't have a date as to when the Granitan finish was introduced. A guess would be the 1970's
