This is my 3rd or 4th go at pipe smoking over the past 45 years, never lasting more than a couple years at each try. I have never had a pipe smoking mentor to help me through. Ah, but now they have this thing called the internet, and forums, and so much more! I’ve already learned so much. I’m excited about this forum, looking forward to connecting with this pipe smoking community and learning how it’s supposed to be done.
Thanks,
Scott
A very warm welcome, Scott, from Sydney, Oz
I started out with a pipe in the early 1970s as an undergraduate, and gave it away in the mid-80s when we started our family.
Picked it up again a few years ago after @ 15 years of smoking cigars
As you pointed out, the huge difference now is the help and advice on the internet, especially on this Forums
I enjoy smoking my pipes so much so my beloved cigars take a back seat now.
Don't hesitate to pose any queries you may have.
Someone will be sure to come along with help/advice
