Hello to all. Just joined. I’ve been enjoying pipe smoking for just over a year now and have picked up a few pipes. I have one that I thought was a Peterson when I bought it but now I’m not sure. I can tell you it definitely is one of my favorites. Was hoping someone could help me identify it. Thanks.

Hello everyone. Thank you for the warm welcomes. I have a couple of Petersons and Nordings as well as a Savinelli and some others of unknown origins. They all smoke well but the Savinelli and the above Pipe in question, which markings on band and stem I’ve never seen before are by far my favorite.

Those are nickel or pot metal repair bands. I hate them! a couple of pipes came with them, including a meerschaum from a late friend.

If there is any nomenclature on the stummel (briar portion) a close up of that would be critical.
