I've noticed a increase in the amount of time on my hands lately and rather than continue to sit on my hands I've decided introductions were finally in order.

I am a cigar transition pipe smoker. This first happened back in 2015 when I bought five pipe tobaccos and a beat up estate in order to see what the mystique of the pipe was all about. At the time I decided it was a high maintenance nicotine delivery system compared to cigars and set the pipe down. Sometime around the end of 2018 I decided to revisit this hobby. As a consequence I have 5 to 6 partial jars consisting of FMOT, FMC, LBF, 5100, Dunhill flake, Solani 656 and one unopened 2015 Christmas Cheer.

The rest of my story is a familiar one for a lot of people on here. 20 plus briars and a dozen plus cobs including an estimated 40 pounds of cellar. It's a testament to compulsive obsessive disorder and psychological projection because I blame you. Now I'm sitting on a sizable cigar stash that doesn't seem to be depleting much at all these days but I'm thankful to have both.

Great reads, laughs and education here not to mention the generosity of this community. The truth is you're all a bunch of enablers.

Hi.

Welcome from Wisconsin! Used to live in Wyo and went to college in Laramie. I still have family around Lander and try to make it out there to visit often.

I get up to Lander for the Fremont Area Road Tour in the spring (not this year), My wife and I like that area. The ride up to the sinks and switchbacks is lung buster but beautiful. Hope your family is well, that county is a bit of a hot spot at the moment.

Cool! I lived in Kemmerer for a while (love Wyoming!), and years ago was a legit long distance guy. An early-days member of the WUCA. Used to ride with Matt Bond and the Dayton Ohio RAM crew. Good times.

Between those two things and pipes, we just went 3 for 3, eh?

Glad you dropped in. :)

Wow, that is nuts! I'm a lot more casual but did get the privilege of riding the inaugural Cycle Greater Yellowstone, some of the most scenic riding in the country. West Yellowstone, Gardiner, Cody, Red lodge, Beartooth, you've probably been there too. Definitely good times, unforgettable memories for sure.

Welcome from S.W Michigan. I had a buddy that went to an automotive school in Laramie.I went out to visit with him for a week. Nice place but quickly learned don't smoke and shovel the driveway while waiting for him to get home.

Welcome from Texas. Our pre-COVID-19 plan for this summer was to take our motorhome to WY for the months of July & August to escape TX heat. Had reservations in Cody, Sheridan, Casper & Cheyenne. Looks like it's not going to happen, but maybe next year??

Nice to see you here as well, these crossing threads are interesting. My parents just moved to the DFW area and I have a sister in Wylie. We were planning to hop a plane in Denver this spring to enjoy some warmth, tickets for me and my spouse were somewhere in the neighborhood of $200. Now I have time to sit here and visit instead.
