Purchased my first pipe in the early 90’s. Enjoyed smoking it for a few years until the the only place to buy pipes and tobacco blends went out of business. With no internet and access to only drug store blends. I switched over to cigars. Been smoking those since.

This summer while convalescing from have six torn tendons in my foot repaired. I started buying some more pipes and tobacco blends to try. Had nothing else to do for 5 months. I had forgotten the enjoyment and tranquility that my pipe had given my decades ago.

A couple dozens pipes and tins of tobacco later. I have hopped over the rabbit hole and fell off a cliff so to speak.

Still a newb so to speak and have been lurking around here since April. Figured I might as well sign up and say Hi.

Greetings! Switching from cigars to pipes will slow you down and make you more calm so that you don't have to kick the walls in anger any longer and injure your foot! :ROFLMAO:

I would think that there are a few pipe shops in West Virginia remaining. Good thing is that pipe tobacco is cheaper and you can buy in bulk and cellar tobacco to stay stocked up! Online is also great. I don't have any good tobacconist near me, so I try to stop in the B&M stores when I visit a larger city and support them by adding more to my cellar.
