I've never seen anything quite like it, though the size and basic shape reminds me of Chinese pipes from the early last century and before. It's lovely. But it appears, to me at least, that there is a stem piece missing.

Yes Lee from father of the flame mention the same thing. He said it was most likely Amber. Thanks for the reply.

Oriental would be my guess. Either Chinese or Japanese. I do not think the stem would have been Amber as it is not a material often used in the Far East.

I bought this in Hong Kong in 1975 (when it was still legal). A very poorly drilled piece, and hasn't been smoked for almost 40 years
