Hello everyone, I am very new to pipe smoking, just 3 monts. I have only one pipe Capitello. I try to figure out which Tobacco is better for me.

Welcome! I am also new to pipes - about 2 months now. I've been smoking mostly English blends but am now trying out Virginias, VaPers, and a few aromatics.

I tried University flake(Peterson), Darkflake(Dunhill) and Navy flake, if I am not wrong. Also I found Old Dublin; Irish Flake, and Full Virginia flake. Finding tobacco very diffucult in Turkey, I can't try populer ones. Looking for high nicotin ratio

Are there any blends in Turkey that we wouldn't be able to get back here in the US? Those types of things interest me most. What do you have access to?

I find Irish Flake very high in nicotine, more so than I usually can take. Was that too mild for you?

I agree about Irish flake actually very mild for me. In Turkey only Captain Black is available, some friends help me from Europe finding new tastes. Is there any recommendation finding tobacco?

Turkey is the source for some of the best Meerschaum pipes, I think. I was just given my first, after many years of briars, cobs, and Mountain Laurel. Welcome aboard.
