Hello all,

I am just getting into the fascinating world of pipes and pipe tobacco. I had an uncle who smoked pipes back in the day and I always loved the smell. I can remember going into the Tinder Box at the Fox Valley mall in Aurora Illinois as a young lad in the 80s and again enjoying the smells and sites.

My loving wife's father and grandfather both smoked pipes and she has very fond memories of that, so I have a willing partner who does not mind me taking this up.

I'm looking forward to learning all I can and hopefully in the future contributing my two cents!!

Hi and welcome TexomaPiper from northern Colorado. I grew up in Aurora and went to the same Tider Box late seventies and eightes. I tried to figure it out on my own and that was a big mistake. A few years ago I gave it another try. This forum has helped me out so much can't see me stopping the pipe hobby any time soon.
