New pipe smoker but not a new human; I just turned 60 a few days ago. New pipe smoker as of 12/25/2022; wife got me my first pipe as a present, now I have like 8 of them. Tastes change daily. I'm here to learn and ask dumb questions.

Hey from central North Carolina. I grew up in suburban Chicago but went to undergraduate school at the U. Mo. School of Journalism, where I met the woman who is now my second wife after losing my first wife to an illness in my mid-fifties.
While at U.Mo., I also did a summer newspaper internship at the Neosho, Mo., Daily News, which was an adventure for a big-city kid. They told me not to say anything bad about Jesse James or Ma Barker since their families were still in the area. Welcome aboard.
