I think Italy is the pipe making capital of the world. Not only do they make a huge array of high end artisan pipes, but looking at the online retail pages, Savinelli must be the largest volume pipe maker in the world. I have a number of Sav's, and Ser Jacopo, and Giani. The largest maker of briar pipes in the U.S. is, I believe, Dr. Grabow, and of course there is Missouri Meerschaum cobs, but nothing like Savinelli. Welcome aboard.
