Hello,

I have been lurking around here for a good bit of time. I wanted to finally join to get more involved with this community. I haven't been smoking pipes very long, but I have been around them since I was a child. My grandfather was an avid pipe smoker and I have fond memories of sitting with him watching and smelling him smoke. I used to go with my Dad to Iwan Reis growing up and that was always quite the experience also!

These days, I am an avid cigar smoker, but also enjoy a pipe. I gravitate more to the Virginia's and Burley's and am not too big on aromatics. I have an eye for Italian and Meerschaum pipes for some reason also which can be dangerous
