Hi all.
I’m a 55 y.o. new pipe smoker. I’ve never been a smoker (other than the occasional cigar on special occasion). Im sure enjoying it, and have bought way too much tobacco, but I want to try everything. I’ve Been lurking for a while but decided I should introduce myself. I look forward to learning more about our hobby from all of you. Thank you in advance.

So far I’m liking a little of everything. I like plumb pudding bourbon barrel a lot. But I’ve been smoking more aromatics trying to get my wife use to it (only been smoking about 2 weeks). I smoke in my shop but when she comes out, she don’t mind the Sweet Smells.

I was going to smoke outside, but after doing it a couple times in the cold I thought NOPE! Lol. But to be honest I just smoked a bowl of Quiet Nights outside and I think it tasted better.. Maybe my imagination cuz it’s been a few days since I had a bowl (and only my second bowl), but I thought it was better, I felt like the flavors were more vibrant. Maybe it was the pipe, first time was in a Savinelli 626 tonight it was in Savinelli 673.
