WhiteKnight fans will find themselves with a familiar blend, but with a slightly deeper flavor and a bit more sweetness. I must say, and I think I'm going to get a lot of flak here, but this is by far the best tasting English blend I have had yet. It beats Nightcap by a mile. The tin note smells like rich, smokey, pit-smoked BBQ! The taste is not too far off, but it has just a hint of sweetness to it that keeps you guessing what the next puff will taste like.

I absolutely LOVE this blend. As far as the room note goes...who cares? If they don't like it they can leave the room.

Did I mention I love this blend?

This is by far going to be a staple in my rotation, and I can't wait to try Peterson's My Mixture 965 and compare the two.

Got a QP of bulk Sutliff Balkan Sobranie Orig. Mix Match. It's a cellar staple, as available as it is affordable, and I believe ostensibly identical to WK (if @Chasing Embers would be so kind as to confirm this for me, one way or the other).

We generally* don't give anyone flack here, so don't worry about such a thing.

*Not unless they really deserve it... :ROFLMAO:

I tried some white knight this year which had been cellaring since it’s release. It changed my entire perspective of English blends. I very nearly almost accidentally in purpose purchased two pounds of it - well the stokkebye bulk.
Yeah, that was a stand out blend with some age on it...

I was in Chicago when they did comparison of the blends, Yes, Russ won the contest, but Mike McNiel won the fan vote. But, I would not say that the contest was in any way a scientific comparison of the two blends. Many of the voters only tasted one of the blends.
