I am thinking about purchasing some Hearth and Home Old Companion. What are your thoughts on this particular blend of tobacco?

The pipes and cigars website says that it is reminiscent of the old foil pouch blends, and I am huge fan of Middletons Apple, Half and Half, and Captain Black, and Hearth and Home tobaccos are of the highest quality, so I would say that it is worth a shot. Also, it is very affordable in bulk, and a tin of it sells for $6.59, so I'm thinking that at that price, you can't lose.

I enjoy SWR, Carter Hall, and PA on a regular bases, so this should be a good one to try! Plus, like you said, for the price of the tobacco, you can't beat it....

If you do wind up getting a tin, you'll have to let me know how it smokes. If it is as good as it sounds, I might wind up getting a tin myself in my next order.
