It has been almost 3 months since I almost met my maker due to the effects of auto-immune disease that fought against the muscles and nerves in my body due to Long Covid. I still have a long way to go before I get to my "new normal" but things are so much better. I'm back to enjoying many simple pleasures and doing many of the usual things that we take for granted on a daily basis. I want to sincerely thank all the forum members that have sent me well wishes and thoughts of encouragement. Unless you have been as low as I got could you appreciate how much your well wishes and concern meant to me. I would especially like to thank FurCoat, SmokeRings79 and ChasingEmbers for their personal messages. FurCoat and SmokeRings79 have really been so thoughtful and caring that I will never forget their friendship. Their regular "checking up on me" messages has reinformed my opinion of the basic goodness that people can have for their fellow man.I have never regretted joining the forum because you guys and gals are the best. I am back to my 3 pipes a day and somehow I enjoy them even more than before. Once again, Thanks so much for being there for me when I needed you the most. It is nice to think that I have really good friends that reach all over the world. Happy smoking!
