I am home today with a major neck spasm/cramp and looking for something to do. While surfing the forum and pipe retailers, Etsy came up with this...

...$27 later and it's mine. Now I just can't wait 'till it gets here.

There are a lot of pipes on there (assuming the listing loads). The hard part is sorting through all the mickey mouse bubble pipes and blown glass "herbal" pipes.

Thanks! Now if my replacement CC will just get here (last one was hacked and that was a bear I'll tell you) I'll be able to order some tobacco to put in it. :puffpipe:

Agreed. Here's a trick for sorting out a lot of the glass "pipes", Czech pipes and new meers. Set the left-hand preferences to "Vintage" and that gets rid of 90% of them. It also filters out the artisan pipes but everything has it's drawbacks.

That said I've considered getting my 3 year old boy a bubble pipe...I just don't know if my wife would respond well to it. She isn't the greatest supporter of my smoking (as infrequently as it occurs)

Looks like the long lost brother of my Comoy Extraordinaire bullcap. I paid $180 on SP last year. You got a great pipe and a bargain basement price! Congrats. Yours looks like a Royal Comoy and three part C. In which case it may be pre-war to mid 1950s in age.

Beauty of a pipe kashmir.
If I read the COM stamp right then it's at least 30s-50s but some sellers like this one seem to indicate that the Royal was dropped with the introduction of the Blue Riband and not reintroduced for some time. It could just be "marketing" but sometimes they are correct.
Either way, I'm happy with it as I love the 2 Comoy pipes I have and am glad to add a third.

Yes, that seller is the famous Mr. Can (for Canadian, his favorite shape). I consider him somewhat of a world authority on Comoys. Likewise the late Derek Greene. I print out Mr. Can's rambling Comoy commentaries, and I have a full binder in my pipe library. What he says goes in my book. I have 30+ Comoys, and they are my main collecting focus. Great pipes.

Great pipe! I have found some great things on Etsy - I like the fact that there is a price, period - no bidding.

Enjoy in the best of health!
