Have any of you guys heard of...

A tobacco called "spillwater" or "stillwater" blend? I ran into a pipe smoker today, and he told me about it, but now I cannot remember the name exactly!

This fellow told me that it is a reproduction of some 1920s blend, which sounds intriguing to me.

So...anyone hear of it before now?

Spilman Mixture is supposed to be a re-creation of a 70 year old blend, brought back to life by Iwan Ries & Co., and made by Altadis.

I bought a can of Spilman Mixture and like it very much. Nice cut and stays lit with little effort. The art on the can is very cool as well. I'd describe it as a light to middle American/English. I recommend it.

I've been meaning to try Spilman Mixture for some time....(mainly because of the label)...I guess it's time... :lol:
