I am on my 3rd go at the ABC series Lost.(04-10) It is an amazing story. If you have seen it, and want to talk about it, lets do... Its on of my all time favorites. It has deep thought inspiring story lines of life and death, time travel, and parallel universes. It's about a plane that crashes on a dessert island and their trials and tribulations. It's on netflix. you can marathon it. the 1st time through i watched it in 2 weeks. I lost sleep to watch it... there are like 150 episodes, each 40 min long. i suggest it to anyone who loves to really think.

Yea, the final episode pissed me off too  But the series as a whole changed my thinking on several things. Where are you in ohio brother. I'm in central Ohio 20 min sw of Columbus. i was raised in the suburbs of Columbus though. Moved here to Raise my kids. I didn't want them exposed to the things that brought my life to a bod point. It's proved to be a wise move :puffpipe:

I liked it, till they got off the island then back on then off...I never could figure out where they were, but if Evangeline Lilly was in it, it didn't really matter where they were.

This has tickled a very good part of my brain.
I didn't so much care for the transition between "There might be more to this Island than we think" to "It doesn't even matter that we're crash survivors, anybody could be used in this plot", but I still loved the hell out of the series.
I watched the first two episodes, and couldn't stop. I watched the first two seasons in one sitting, slept, watched three and four and spent a few hours looking for a decent-quality torrent of season five, slept, and then went into a week-long depression when I realized season six wasn't going to be released for another eight months.

That's great toadie... i watched the pilot when it aired and loved it, but at the time i had no time for TV. Then last year i got netflix and saw it there. so i marathoned it. i could only watch after kids went to bed and didn't sleep at all many nights. second time through i watched it in like 4 days because i didn't have my kids. I went into a depression of sorts after second viewing because i felt like the characters were part of my life. I'm a loner since my kids mom passed. Don't drink, or drug. Had me one heck of a woman habit for awhile but too many consequences involved it that habit. What's your favorite episode? Mine is "Tricia Tanaka is Dead"/ I love when Hugo gets the van going. There are many other more meaningful episodes. That one just makes me happy!!!

I stuck with it and enjoyed it to the end. It became slow and disjointed in parts, but I still enjoyed the series. I started to watch "The River" last season, a "Lost" knock-off. Not bad, but not the same interesting characters.

I watched 5 seasons when I was in Iraq. Forces myself to only watch one episode a night to drag it out. It was my little treat every night. Caught the last season when I got home. I really liked Alcatraz which was similar and had Hugo in it but they cancelled it after 1 season.

The guy I was talking about was the character Richard Alpert he was shackled below decks on the old wooden ship .The episode started with him trying to get medicine for his wife who was close to death.I think he was immortal if I remember right it has been a while since I watched the show.

Yea, The episode that shows how richard came to the island.. Great episode. The one with Locks dad tied up and lock gets Sawyer to kill him for him is good too. They are all Good. The last 5 episodes of season 2 are pretty weak though....
