I'm looking for another blend to try and the search bar didn't throw up any hits other than pipes of the same name. There's 4 blends listed on the site I buy from, it's double the price of an Amphora pouch, so I'm keen to hear some first-hand experience/recommendations from those who have sampled it.

Here's the blurb from the manufacturer. A lot of emphasis on the figs. I like figs...

White Elephant Kalahari – The exotic pipe tobacco with a fig note

The aromatic White Elephant Kalahari pipe tobacco from Kopp Tobaccos transports the pipe smoker to the unique atmosphere of the African Kalahari desert. The tobacco blend consists of fine Broken Virginia, Dark Virginia and Black Cavendish – high-quality tobaccos from different regions of Africa.

Exotic fig aroma

The special feature of this pipe tobacco is the subtle seasoning with a fig aroma. The fig is a fruit native to Africa with a fruity-nutty taste. This exotic aroma adds a sweet note to the tobacco blend. The fig flavour harmonises excellently with the Broken Virginia and brings a slight sweetness to the otherwise strong taste. Pipe smokers can dream themselves to the head of a caravan in the Kalahari when enjoying this pipe tobacco.

The White Elephant Kalahari pipe tobacco impresses with its balanced blend of African tobaccos and the exotic fig aroma. Lovers of aromatic tobaccos with a pinch of exoticism will be thrilled by this pipe tobacco. The subtle fig aroma perfectly rounds off the strong taste.

Cheers,

Beaker.
