I always enjoyed his storytelling and I certainly enjoy my two HCA Stanwell Churchwardens. Of his tales, are there any that strike you as relevant in today’s world or any that just seem to resonate more with you?

He certainly came from a land of pipe smokers. A relevant tale of his is The Emperor has no Clothes. It wasn't so much that the emperor had no clothes, but how people were willing to entertain a delusion rather than speak out at the risk of hurting someone suffering from delusion. That to me is a very relevant story for our times.

I think it’s relevant for all times. There have always been too few of those who speak and point out the obvious truths and then are essentially martyred or at least marginalized for breaking that train of thought which is a sort of voluntary mass delusion. All throughout history there are stories, many are children who simply state the obvious. Not out of bravery or rebellion it’s just matter of fact. Most of our heroes are just folks who did the right thing without being bound by the groupthink.
