So, in the spirit of venturing out and trying new things again, I did the unthinkable and looked at a few pipes being offered up online. "Much safer to just admire the ones in the What Are You Smoking Thread here," i've told myself again and again. But alas, reason and logic oft get lost in the tumbler of intrigue and passion.
Savinelli is a brand I've only smoked on a couple occasions. However, I've long been aware of their quality/following. I always had more of a thing for Stanwell when it came to production pipes. Recently, though, I did pick up a Sav pot and gave it a try. It was a bargain and so i dabbled. Thoroughly enjoying the smoking characteristics, i decided to look at some Autographs. Little is left to tell of this tale, save for the fact that this is what just hit the porch:
Admittedly a rather odd squarish-panel shape, but the price (after a little negotiation) was unbearable to walk away from. I have a couple other panel pipes and enjoy them well enough. Time to find something to put this to the test with...
