I just ordered a tin of this stuff because it sounded like it would be right up my alley, but I have read a few reviews from people that say it loses a lot of flavor as it ages, which kind of confuses me, because being a VaPer blend, I would think that aging would only do good things for this blend, but then I started to wonder if it had something to do with the bourbon topping applied to the blend. Has anyone smoked any of this stuff aged? If so, how does it compare to the fresh version? If I crack the tin and decide I like it, I could easily purchase a large amount of it but I dont want it sitting around if aging is going to negatively affect it. Thanks guys.

I did not care for it. I have smoked 4oz of the bulk, it wasn't aged. I did detect any bourbon topping, it was sorta bland. I hope you have better luck with it then I did.
take care.

I love bourbon, I love Virginia, I love Perique and I love Burley, so for me this almost seems like a "can't miss" type of blend. I'm wondering what the percentage of Virginia is in this blend. If its fairly small, I could see how aging might not make much of a difference.

yes sir, I love bourbon, Virginia, perique, and burley as well. I thought the same thing about sunzabitces- this blend was right down my alley, however I was not impressed with the tobac. I ordered sunzabitches twice, with the same result both times. I was wanting to like this stuff. I hope you enjoy it more than myself. perhaps the tin version maybe better than the bulk version.
take care.

I love blends with these ingredients (Haddo's and OJK are two of my favorites) but I had problems with this one. Fresh, it was a very robust and tasty smoke. Once aged for a few months, however, it was really unpleasant -- harsh, ashy, and one of the hottest burning things I've ever smoked. I have no idea why this would be the case, as it should age nicely with its ingredients. But it doesn't.
