Usually when I smoke, my sense of smell gets so overwhelmed that I am incapable of discerning room note.
Tonight I smoked some Black House while screwing around in the garage. Put the pipe down, walked outside to check my mailbox, and then on the way back into the garage picked up a scent that reminded me very much of artificially sweet tobacco (like smelling a Drew Estate Acid or flavored Swisher). I picked up the pipe and gave it a whiff but it smelled mostly like how a burning pipe smells.
None of my neighbors smoke anything but cigarettes so this smell was very unique and not common to my street.
Could it be the Black House? I know it's really dumb to ask you all what MY tobacco smells like, but as I said my nose generally can't pick up a room note.
