Hello all, names Abe from Southern Georgia!

I am a member of a few other pipe forums and figured i’d join the biggest one.

Been smoking a pipe since 2015. I am a big fan of C&D, Burley blends, GH, but I pretty much enjoy everything.

As far as pipes, I am a big fan of Classic American pipes, Dr. Grabow, Kaywoodie, Medico, Yello-Bole. Also a fan of Savinelli and Missouri Meerschaun. Majority of my pipe collection is Dr. Grabow’s and Corn Cobs.

Glad to be here and look forward to chatting with all of you!

Welcome Georgia!!!
What's the hell??? What is the difference between American pipes and other ones?
well the classic American pipes just don't look right to me :). Totally a matter of taste. Otherwise they're pretty much the same beast as pipes made anywhere. They have more of a tendency to be about affordable and available over flashy or extra nice. I don't know if I am explaining it well but the biggest thing is just they where made in America and widely available here in many many places. Like drug stores.

Welcome, Abe. I spent some time down there in my younger days… where I was introduced to pecan pie, okra, and sweet tea. Loved the Spanish moss in the trees.

Welcome aboard from central North Carolina. We're in the same area on pipes. I have Grabows, Kaywoodie, Yello-Bole, and quite a few MM cobs, along with various other brands.

Hello from Austin, Texas,

I was stationed at Fort Stewart for 7 years, about 40 miles south of Savannah.

A beautiful state. The only thing that keeps me away is a hideous ex-wife...

Welcome to the forum!
