I am originally from the Pacific Northwest, but I have lived in Kentucky for about the last 10+ years and only started smoking a pipe about two years ago.

My favorite pipes are cobs, although I do own a few estate briars that I smoke now and then, and I currently really enjoy English and Balkan blends. My favorite blend right now is probably GLP Quiet Nights, however, other than some goopy aromatics, I have enjoyed most of what I have sampled so far.

I have also smoked cigars for about 12 years, and I still enjoy them from time to time as well.

Looking forward to being a part of the community.

We have lived in a couple of states, and like anywhere, there are plusses and minuses. The property is much cheaper here, but we have also found the utilities more expensive. Internet access can also be an issue if you get outside of one of the big cities. We live about 10 minutes outside of a decent sized city and there is no internet service at all except mobile hotspot or satellite, but, overall, we are happy here. I must admit that we both certainly miss the ocean and the mountains quite a bit.
