Welcome aboard from central North Carolina, U.S. My brother-in-law was born and raised in Rotterdam but has lived in Chicago for much of his adult life, and now teaches Dutch culture classes to people from The Netherlands and others who wish to learn or renew the language and culture. He now has dual citizenship. Some of the students are kids whose parents want them to know their roots. My late wife and I had a wonderful trip Amsterdam and Horn in 2000, just as the herring came into season and enjoyed a rice table or two, and enjoyed the museums and the Anne Frank house.
