First of all I am not a big phone guy. Not too chatty. But I do require a good Bluetooth for work and calling Mrs. Jones every day. My Jawbone Era - Midnight microphone or signal processor failed me after 14 months this week and I felt a bit crippled having to hold a brick to my head to talk. So in my travels today I opted for my first choice and got the Bose Bluetooth. It has been remarkable so far. Call clarity, bass, and audio volume is ten times better than the Jawbone.
But anyway, It is still December and I am an exclusive outdoor smoker but alas I checked into the hotel this evening and got a decent smoking Suite that did not smell like smoke(until 2 hours ago). Thanks to Brian Levine I finished up episode 11 of the Pipes Magazine Radio Show as I pulled my luggage into the room. Got my Bose Bluetooth working on both phones. Fired up a bowl of St. James Flake and chatted up my buddy Hawk via SMS text. Second Bowl I gave my buddy Harris(cigrmaster) a call and talked to him more than I talk to anyone in a weeks time. It was a very good talk about pipes and tobacco's. I just had a feeling this conversation was a lot closer than 800 miles away. It was such a good feeling to smoke a pipe, and talk pipes and tobacco inside, out of the nasty weather. This was the first time I smoked a pipe indoors in 15 years. I won't be another 15 before I smoke again inside I'll tell ya that.

Bose really knows sound. Didn't know they made a bluetooth. Then again, I'm not too tech savvy. Smoking inside is defineitely a luxury, IMHO. Smoking outdoors has it's place, but sometimes, smoking inside can give you that extra dose of comfort and security.

I have to agree that in these Midwest winters it is really nice to be able to relax and enjoy smoking inside in my den (window open of course so mama doesn't complain) with my IR heater and a laptop or good book and a pipefull of baccy.

Chris, it sounded like you were in the next room, really good quality. I had a blast chatting with you, I love talking pipes and tobacco and it was great to be able to put a voice to a name from the site. I am looking forward to our next conversation.
