Sad news, indeed😔.

Check out this informal jam session that features Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Carl Perkins. Apparently they just all happened to turn up at the recording studio at the same time and decided to jam.

I love the bit at the end where you can hear them talking. Elvis saying "Johnny, i'll see you later" 😎

This is all kinds of legendary.

He was famous in the 80's and 90's for dropping into clubs and restaurants unannounced and playing a set, then leaving immediately afterward.

My (then) wife and I happened to be eating dinner at a BBQ joint / stage act place on the north side of Cincinnati one time when the owner came over and advised us to "stick around a minute" after we finished eating, but wouldn't say why. (He knew me from having done some sound jobs there).

Sure enough, five minutes after we would have left, in walked Jerry Lee.

Burned the house down, and didn't have care. He just wanted to let out some a' that Rock that still had the Roll in it.

Good times. :col:

RIP Jerry Lee

Whether or not you were offended by his marital escapades (and penchant for firing off his pistol indoors), his career took a serious hit when the Media tried to cancel him and profit off the scandal. Sound familiar? That man was a survivor, boy. An unsurpassed talent and a legend in his own time. RIP Killer.
