Very good write up. At one time I lived across the Missouri river in Marthasville Mo. Very near where they grow the cobs.

Thanks for posting that up. I was contacted by one of the editors for a quote, which turned into a thread where several of our members provided testimonials. They didn't seem to make the cut though.
I didn't know about the movie Emperor with Tommy Lee JOnes playing General Douglas MacArthur and smoking an actual Missouri Meerschaum. That's pretty cool.

Nice little article. There's an interesting video they have a link to in the article, shows the making of their corn cob pipes. It was very interesting all in all.
