Just popped the top on my Granger. I enjoy the tin note which makes me think of blueberries.

I'm only about 1/3 through the bowl but so far it tastes like a mixture of blueberries and Chocolate. As an Aero mainly smoker I am enjoying this quite a bit so far.

It's nice for me since earlier today I tried a different blend for the first time and it didn't click.

So far cool, easy and delicious.

Do many here enjoy Granger?

Plenty here enjoy Granger, myself included. Even the snobby elitists do, though they will never cop to it.

I found a sealed tub at a grocery store about a year ago marked down to $18 so I bought it. Figured why not.

Might have to crack it open soon.
Try it out. The smoke is quiet and nice to me. I got blueberries from the tin note and initial part of the bowl, seems to be a chocolate hint getting stronger towards the end.

I will be having this again soon.

Here
I recently tapped into a huge jar of Granger I found in my "cellar".

I've been enjoying it, more so after an extensive drying period.

Granger is my daily unconscious,...

As Ashdigger has indicated, it helps to be unconscious to maximize enjoyment of it.. nnnn

Ash, with your line of work, you are one of the few entitled to have a GO bag with no social penalties!

I enjoy it on occasion as I do other OTC blends. SWR really clicks with me.
I have reason to believe that Granger and SWR share the same base blend, only the toppings differ. Load and Smoke them side by side and see. I prefer the taste of Granger over SWR but they smoke eerily similar. Like em both.

I've not tried Granger.

The only American Burley OTCs I've tried are Carter Hall [good smoke] and just yesterday tried Prince Albert for the first time thanks to a kind gift from a forum member [much appreciated Jay] and that's also a decent smoke.

But hey, what do I know, I also like that dreaded 1Q stuff.

I'm starting to see that there's two camps amongst pipe smokers; those of us who smoke a few bowls or more daily and those who smoke one bowl a day or just a few every week.

I guess the latter can afford to be picky and smoke nothing but tinned weed.
it's good to have a mild, honest Burley like Prince Albert or Carter Hall for when the mood strikes.

From reading the reviews [at where else? www.tobaccoreviews.com ] Granger sounds like another OTC that's worth a try.

Alrighty guys, you knew I’d have to get into this thread.

Yes, I also get a berry note in both the tin and the smoke.

Here is my take on the key OTC’s in my rotation.

Prince Albert - Nutty, Cocoa, light in body.

Granger - Fruit and Nut, Fuller Flavor. My All Time Favorite.

Carter Hall - Buttery, Nutty, Cocoa, Bourbon and absolutely delicious. But too mild and I have to smoke slowly and chase that elusive. flavor. (If Carter Hall’s flavor popped for me like Granger’s, it would be my #1.

Pegasus - Smooth but harsher nose tingle than the above. Great flavorful burly with far more nicotine than the above.

I won’t go on. Just want to agree with the OP on Granger’s Blueberry/Berry thing. I get that too.

Prince Albert - Coco Pebbles, Count Chocula.

Granger - Fruity Pebbles, Trix

Carter Hall - Golden Grahams.

Both coming from STG that makes sense. I'm definitely cellaring both. If you haven't tried EGR its really good too. Big ribbon cuts and I get hints of cinnamon.
