Man, that’s awesome as hell! Was in Civil Air Patrol (Air Force ROTC) all through high school before enlisting in the Air Force. I think it’s great when kids (especially now days) step outside the norm and go out into the world and learn something! Congrats, looks like you have a winner there sir!

Awesome! Getting my pilot’s license was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. There is nothing like feeling those flight controls come alive on take off. Except maybe feeling the gear touch down on landing ?

I'd be terrified as all neck if one of my kids wanted to fly a plane, but torn between wanting to support them as well.

That is super cool! I have a friend that went up in three different planes, and has yet to land in one.
