Grabow Golden Duke? (Bought Today)

If i buy another grabow, it WOULD have to be one of those adjustomatic models.

The mystery—-

$5 in 1965 is about $50 today.

There is no way under the sun Grabow could find the briar to make thousands and thousands of early Adjustomatics today on an assembly line at any price.

They had to have found a huge cache of outrageously high end briar.

My pipe actually does say Adjustomatic on the side too, although it doesn't show well in the picture.

I've been unable to smoke it as yet because now I need to buy filters and it still needs a good cleaning.

I smoke a Color Duke Adjustomatic a few times a week with no filter (I’ve never smoked it with one).
