Grabow Commodore Sandblast Rim Repair

Ok I hope this works out. I'm trying out Al's recommended process for posting pictures.
There were two good chunks missing from the outer edge of the rim. I filled them with briar shavings, formed and sanded into shape, then blended the fills with a faux blast using a dental bur. Fresh stain match which is a sort of very dark purple with red highlights like the original Commodores were finished.

That's very good work, can't tell it was ever chipped, which I suppose is the point. Also, that is a hell of a nice blast on that Grabow, I rarely see Grabows that well done.
