Vey excited to be having my first estate pipe coming...a Peterson 307 system. Some spit and polish is in order I'm sure, but thats just part of the fun!

Ok...she came in today. Very excited!!! I do have some work to do in the cleanup department. She smells very strongly of latakia, which is OK by me :) Still will do the proper cleanup prior to smoking (the "reservoir" is as you might expect...pretty nasty), but I am excited! Being 4th generation Irish, I wanted my first "proper" pipe to be a Peterson.
Here's a pic, but I'll get a better one with wifey's D300. This was taken with my crackberry...

Sweet! For estate system pipes I shove a cotton ball in the reservoir and soak it with alcohol. A nice overnight soak gets our amazing amounts of crud!

Excellent advice! I'm guessing alcohol of the dual purpose, correct? i.e. pipe cleaning, and, um.......

And so it begins....

Nice find! I've found that estate hunting is quite addictive.
