After 3 weeks of nervous waiting a package arrived today, it was sent by a forum member who had offerd to sell me a couple of pipes. I've not had much joy in finding decent estate pipes here so I chose 2 from his selection and was also offered some tobacco to purchase also, which I gladly accepted.
The package arrived un-molested by customs, hence the reason for the nervous wait.

The pipes are a Weber and a LHS Sterncrest, both very tidy and usable and will be put into regular rotation. I particularly like the colour of the Sterncrest and, after packing the bowl, found that it smoked very well.
Pipe Tobacco choices here are very limited so I will look forward to opening these tins in the future.

Indonesia
Brassmonkey where are you located?
There are a number of US-based vendors that ship discretely to international addresses.
Really? my package of tobacco snuffs and snuses was hold in Indonesian custom. For a 100 grams total weight and $40 price (shipping cost included) was really a great disappointment. If they could discretely shipped to Indonesian, It's a great blessing to me...

That prince is sweet.
John Cotton's #1 is the blend that sucked me in to this pipe world ten months ago. Enjoy!

Mike, I'm in New Zealand. Here a 50 gram costs just over $100, I've started importing a few pounds of whole leaf which has no tax added, I can get pound sent over for half the cost of a 50 gram tin.
