Two years ago I started a thread about the Maigret novels and television shows. That thread has since been locked to further comments.
I know we have plenty of Maigret fans here on the forum. The good news is that the complete Maigret collection (52 episodes) starring Rupert Davies is now available to buy on Amazon Prime for $0.99 an episode and they became available on DVD/Blue Ray in October 2021. Might need a special player to watch them here in the states.
I've watched a couple of the Rupert Davies episodes and they're really good. The outdoor scenes were all shot on location in Paris while the indoor scenes were shot in a studio in England.
In the past two years I've watched alot of Maigret and the Michael Gambon Maigret is my favorite followed by the Rupert Davies, Bruno Cremer and then Rowan Atkinson last.
Anyway, if you're a fan of Maigret, check out Rupert Davies.
