Today was a good day. I got up, showered, went to work, got off, and then went shopping. :) Picked up 2 pipes, both Savinelli's. One 602 and one Churchwarden. They're gorgeous! I'm sitting here with my dad, him smoking his meerschaum, me smoking my new churchwarden, watching George Carlin. Not a bad way to spend Good Friday. Will post pics soon. How did everyone else spend their day?

Respecting the intent of your thread....

Spent the day quietly...reading...meditating....trying to absorb the magnitude of its meaning....

Worked at the crappy job at which I only got paid for half the hours I put in.
Stopped by my son's shop and discussed the gameplan to sell shit-loads of woofers the next 12 months so that I can quit my shitty job and come to work for him.
Ate stuffed salmon for supper....again...4th time this week. I've already received my invitation to be the guest speaker at this years Salmon Industry Convention.
smoked 2 bowls in the truck where it was warm.

I read a little, waited on a bike seat, and planned the easter meal for the folks. Still, waiting on the bike seat. Fed ex always seems to forget where I live.

lol havoc, I once had a shipping company, OnTrac, deliver something to the front desk where I live.

Except that I live in a house.

Which is nowhere near any apartment complexes. I never did learn why the driver delivered it to a front desk somewhere, all I know is the next day the package was in the correct place.

As to me...I went to class, and then smoked a leisurely bowl out in the nice Spring weather.

I am appreciating the chance to do nothing for a few days for a change. Went up to watch my excavator operator take down more of the school while smoking my morning bowl and having a tea, went shopping and picked up a bottle of Macallan 12 year and a tin of SG Skiff (another SG offering that I haven't had in years.) Now I'm just finishing up some BBQed hot dogs and sweet potato fries and letting the Skiff dry out a bit. Looks like it's going to be a good night of tobacco, whisky and ehhhhhh herbal therapy.

I didn't do a whole lot Friday until my buddy came over and managed to get his van stuck in the mud. He ended up making use of my spare room. Now I am paying for trying to help him get the van out.

Well, it's Easter and I'm loving it. I'm sitting outside, smoking a cigar, whiling the good weather away on my laptop. Aaahhh... I love being a child of the electronic era.

I spent part of Good Friday praying for rain.
Today, being Easter Sunday I spent the afternoon eating a feast and watching it rain.
And congrats, Bowhatchie on that turkey, I bagged a nice big hen the other day with the right front headlight of my F-150.
Headlight lens....$39
Turn signal lens and bulb $22
Look on the drivers face behind me when he saw the turkey explode.....priceless!!!!

I made meat balls, sauce and pasta for some friends for easter. Followed that up with a piece of cheese cake that my buddy's wife made and then a bowl full of SG Skiff in a Mastro De Paja apple on his deck. Was beautiful weather here all weekend.

Spent Good Friday covering for 2 people at work - effectively doing 3 jobs. Then spent a few hours at church with a wonderful service.
Today I cooked Easter dinner for 20 and it was fabulous! I made a roast, some fish and 3 types of chicken and everyone said they loved them all. Then the little kids that were there had an Easter Egg hunt and bothered the beast with too many hugs. He was happy cause they let him out a few times and he got to run around the block.
