Evening all,
I've been reading these forums for a while and figured it was time to jump into the foray. A returning (amateur) pipe smoker you may say. There was a brief affair with pipe tobacco back in the college years, but then moved on to cigars soon thereafter. Recently had an itch to pick up pipe smoking and decided to dive in head first with an estate Dunhill. The reunion has been good so far, and I'd like to thank the community here for all of the great information that has helped me avoid many of the pitfalls that I would have otherwise stumbled in to. I look forward to the continued learning experience and camaraderie.

Welcome aboard. I like Atlanta, the one visit (business trip) I made. Never got there but liked the slightly jokey name of The High Museum. Watched some ferocious pick-up soccer in one of the public parks, couldn't figure out how they knew who was on which team, but some good action. The heat and humidity are steps up even from Piedmont N.C. Lots of good info, discussion, and commentary here on Forums, and some real expertise from blenders, carvers, and long-time pipe smokers.

Welcome! Have you ever gone to Puff and Stuff near Decatur? I'm going to stop by there today and check it out while I'm down there.
